Explore what sets Bosch apart from other companies
We are supporting scientific research in Germany, China, India, and the United States to the tune of 50 million euros.
We are currently creating a global job market that will advertise all Bosch vacancies around the world. If the country of your choice is not yet listed, please visit that country’s website to look for local openings.
We are active around the globe. What that means for you in practical terms is that your working environment is the international arena. Many of your coworkers will come from other countries, and you, too, can choose to work for us on any continent. To be up to the task, you’ll need strength of character as well as specialist expertise. If you’re eager to use your knowledge worldwide, are open-minded and proactive, your prospects are bright with us.
We select our staff based exclusively on their expertise and personal strengths. To get ahead at Bosch, it’s performance that counts.
At Bosch, we feel it is important for our staff to experience our business at different locations throughout the world. That way, we ensure that knowledge is exchanged across the group and that collaboration based on mutual understanding is fostered. Plus, all our locations around the world get to benefit from the know-how of seasoned associates. As a general rule, working abroad is voluntary, except to qualify for senior positions.
For our associates to make a success of a stint abroad, they need to be open and flexible. Language skills and cultural savvy are also a must. We coach you in both regards. Our associates undergo intensive preparation for their new environment and are given guidance throughout their stay abroad.
German and English are our corporate languages. All executives should have mastered both. In principle, anyone wishing to work abroad at Bosch needs a good command of English. A basic knowledge of the local language is of added advantage. Bosch associates are always welcome to advance their skills with language courses at all levels.
Our long-term vision for our company is a management that reflects our cultural diversity and is therefore ideally equipped to represent our interests worldwide. To this end, we groom tomorrow’s specialists and leaders at all of our locations. In so doing, we make a point of assigning most positions of responsibility to capable local associates.
